Last night, I took to the floor of the House of Representatives and outlined our case as to why this Congress must hold immediate hearings on Rep. Kucinich’s Articles of Impeachment.I didn’t do it alone: I was armed with nearly 200,000 signatures of support from you and so many others. Please watch the video of this speech and forward it to as many people as possible. I’ve posted it on the front page of www.WexlerWantsHearings.com

Yesterday, we joined John for the final leg of his historic march from Boston to Washington, DC to urge Congress to hold impeachment hearings on Bush and Cheney. It was great meeting John, his partner Allyson and so many other wonderful people who came to the march & rally yesterday. Impeach supporters from many other states as well as the DC area were there. We had a bit of trouble being asked to leave the National Arboretum and some of us were turned away at the Constitution. (this issue is on fire! see links below)
John asked us all to remember that this is not over, being here is just the first part. The second part is carrying this message to congress which he asks us to do and which he intends to do this week and next. (see John’s message below)

Sibel Edmonds, the FBI whistle-blower who has been gagged for years by the Bush administration over intercepts she translated while at the bureau, was willing to go to prison to get her story told. She spent years trying to get her day in court, but the State Secrets gag against her prohibited her from telling her story even to a FISA judge. After years of trying to fight her way to through the maze of the US court system, Sibel Edmonds finally decided to tell her story no matter the consequences and offered to do so to any interested US media outlets.Today, part of that story runs, but not in the United States, where not a single corporate outlet was willing to displease the White House and give Edmonds a platform. The Sunday Times Online, however, proved up to the task - somewhat.
