Kucinich talks about Kyl-Lieberman Amendment, Iran, and H.Res.333

Kucinich: “This is a license to attack Iran. This administration has set a course for aggression against Iran, this is one of the reasons I’ve introduced a resolution of impeachment against the Vice President, because in addition to lying and setting us on a course of war against Iraq based on falsehoods, he’s doing the same thing with respect to Iran.”

Schultz: “I don’t get that we haven’t had a diplomatic relationship with these folks for 28 years… yet we are ready to set the table to do some military action against them because they’ve got some hoods that are in Iraq… you know if we weren’t in Iraq, we wouldn’t be getting hit by them”

Kucinich: “We really need to get them out of office”

Schultz: “How can we do this…with the 76 senators gave them the green light…how can we stop them? Jim Webb is the only one who reads this as a back door method of gaining congressional validation for military action.”

Kucinich: “We have a government in place right now that has to be challenged. I’m seriously thinking about calling a privileged resolution on impeachment of the vice president and forcing a vote on the floor of the House.”

Holtzman: Attorney General Confirmation Should Include Special Prosecutor Investigation of Gonzales

Just as Nixon’s impeachment began with the Watergate hearings and Clinton’s with the Starr investigation, impeachment of Bush and Cheney needs an investigation to convince a majority of House members to want to impeach. Former House Judiciary Committee member Liz Holtzman helped get Nixon out of office and co-authored the Special Prosecutor law.

“LET’S TAKE THE HOUSE IN NOVEMBER 2008” by Carol Wolman.

We the People, under the US Constitution, are self-governing. We delegate our sovereignty to our elected officials, the president, vice president, senators and representatives. These individuals are supposed to be public servants, carrying out our will.

The system has broken down. We the People elected a Democratic majority to Congress last November for the purpose of getting us out of Iraq and curbing the power of the Executive Branch. Instead, Congress OK’d and funded the “surge”, ok’d increased warrantless surveillance, ok’d an attack on Iran way before the fact.
